Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Shweta:

Tell us about your background and professional journey. What inspired you to establish MindBodyBalance and create ReclaimHER™?

My journey began with years of hope, heartbreak and multiple miscarriages. Between medications, medical appointments and the pressure to stay strong, I slowly lost touch with the woman I once was. At the same time, I was building my corporate career. I continued showing up with confidence at work while struggling with grief and emotional exhaustion behind closed doors.

That experience helped me understand the challenges faced by women who appear capable and successful professionally but are privately navigating emotional struggles. I know what it feels like to keep showing up at work when there is so much happening internally that others cannot see.

Yoga, meditation and holistic healing became important parts of my journey back to myself. I realised that healing was not about erasing the pain of what had not happened; it was about reclaiming who I was despite it.

That realisation inspired me to establish MindBodyBalance and create my signature programme, ReclaimHER™. I wanted to build a supportive space for women navigating similar experiences, where they could reconnect with themselves, rediscover their self-worth and nurture the relationships that matter to them.

Fertility struggles can be emotionally demanding, particularly for women managing demanding careers and family expectations. What does fertility burnout look like, and how can women recognise it?

I use the term fertility burnout to describe the emotional exhaustion that can accompany prolonged fertility struggles. It can look like getting through an entire working day and having very little emotional energy left for yourself by the evening.

A woman may constantly move between hope, disappointment and anxiety about the next cycle while simultaneously managing deadlines, professional responsibilities and expectations at home.

It can show up as difficulty concentrating, persistent thoughts about treatment, guilt about taking time off work or feeling emotionally overwhelmed by situations that previously seemed ordinary. Even a pregnancy announcement or a family gathering can bring up complicated emotions, particularly when she anticipates questions about having children.

The impact can extend to relationships too. Conversations may gradually become dominated by appointments, reports and treatment outcomes, leaving little room for affection and companionship.

The first step is recognising and acknowledging what she is experiencing. Just because a woman continues performing well professionally does not mean she is emotionally okay. She deserves understanding, compassion and support without having to prove how much she is struggling.

Your signature programme, ReclaimHER™, focuses on helping women reconnect with themselves. What does reclaiming your identity and self-worth mean during a fertility journey?

For me, reclaiming yourself means giving your own needs, emotions and identity a place in your life again.

A woman can deeply desire motherhood and still deserve happiness, enjoyment, meaningful relationships and a sense of purpose today. Her identity and worth should never become defined solely by her fertility journey or its outcomes.

ReclaimHER™ follows five transformative phases: Release, Reconnect, Rewire, Realign and Rise. Through these phases, we create space to acknowledge difficult emotions, explore self-worth and identity, and reflect on beliefs about what a woman’s life is supposed to look like.

We then translate those reflections into everyday choices, relationship conversations and a personalised plan for moving forward.

Sometimes, reclaiming yourself begins with something simple: returning to an activity you once enjoyed, asking for emotional support without apologising or having a meaningful conversation with your partner that goes beyond fertility treatment.

The purpose of ReclaimHER™ is to support emotional wellbeing and reconnection, helping women rediscover themselves while navigating their journeys.

You integrate yoga, meditation and NQH (Neuro Charka Quantum Healing) into your holistic approach. How do these practices support emotional wellbeing, particularly for women navigating fertility challenges?

Yoga and meditation have played an important role in my personal journey. They helped me slow down, become more aware of my emotions and reconnect with myself during challenging times.

Yoga, when appropriately adapted to an individual’s needs, can support relaxation, stress management and emotional wellbeing. For women whose minds are constantly occupied with medical appointments, reports and future uncertainties, creating even a little space for themselves can be meaningful.

NQH, or NeuroCharka Quantum Healing, is another part of my holistic practice. I incorporate it alongside personalised reflection and relationship communication tools to help women explore their feelings, needs and beliefs about self-worth.

I strongly believe that holistic wellbeing should complement, not replace, appropriate medical care and mental health support. Neither NQH nor ReclaimHER™ is presented as a fertility treatment or a guarantee of a particular outcome.

Women should also understand that they do not have to remain positive all the time. It is perfectly valid to acknowledge fear, grief, frustration and uncertainty. Healing begins with allowing yourself to experience your emotions without judgement.

What advice would you give to corporate women who feel caught between career responsibilities, family expectations and relationship needs, while constantly putting themselves last?

I would tell them that their needs belong in the conversation too.

You can be committed to your career, deeply care about your family and value your relationship while also recognising that you are tired and need support. Asking for privacy, rest or emotional understanding does not make you less responsible or less committed.

I encourage women to begin with small, specific requests. At work, this might mean asking for time to attend a medical appointment without feeling obligated to disclose personal details. With family, it could be setting a gentle boundary by saying, “I will share an update when I am ready. Please let me bring it up.”

With a partner, it might mean expressing a need to be heard before discussing solutions.

It is equally important to recognise that both partners may experience the journey differently and require different kinds of emotional support.

Sometimes, one honest conversation can become the starting point for rebuilding understanding, closeness and companionship. Women must remember that prioritising their wellbeing is not selfish; it is necessary.

In today’s fast-paced corporate environment, what simple daily practices can women adopt to improve emotional wellbeing and strengthen their relationships?

I believe in starting small and choosing practices that fit into your actual lifestyle rather than creating another set of expectations.

Here are a few simple practices I encourage:

> Begin with a mindful check-in: Before opening your emails or messages in the morning, ask yourself, “What am I feeling, and what do I need today?”

> Take mindful pauses: Between meetings, take a moment to feel your feet on the floor, observe your surroundings and allow your breathing to remain comfortable.

> Practise emotional reflection: At the end of the day, write one sentence about what felt emotionally heavy and one thing that could make tomorrow easier.

> Create meaningful connection: Ask your partner whether they would prefer you to listen, help with something or simply spend some quiet time together.

> Make space for yourself: Return to activities that bring you enjoyment, whether that is yoga, reading, meditation, music or spending time outdoors.

These practices do not require hours of your day. Even a few intentional moments can help women become more aware of their needs and communicate more openly.

The idea is not to achieve perfection but to build a more compassionate relationship with yourself and the people around you.

What is your vision for MindBodyBalance and ReclaimHER™? What meaningful changes do you hope to create in the lives of women through your work?

My vision for ReclaimHER™ is to create a private, supportive and understanding space where corporate women can openly explore the emotional challenges of their fertility journeys, including the struggles that are often difficult to discuss at work or even at home.

The programme runs over 12 weeks and includes 10 personalised one-to-one NQH sessions across five phases: Release, Reconnect, Rewire, Realign and Rise. It also incorporates reflection exercises, relationship communication tools and a final integration plan.

Through this structure, I want women to have the opportunity to explore what they are carrying emotionally and identify how they would like to move forward.

The changes I hope to support are meaningful everyday experiences: feeling better equipped to handle difficult conversations, finding space for personal enjoyment, communicating more openly with a partner and developing a stronger sense of self-worth.

Every woman’s journey is different, and progress will look different for everyone. My ultimate goal is to help women reconnect with themselves, recognise their inherent worth and make choices that honour their emotional wellbeing.

Because a woman can deeply desire motherhood without losing herself along the way.
